The minister is talking nonsense. In other countries, the 3.4/3.7 GHz band spectrum needed for services such as 5G were auctioned. This means the companies which won these competitive bids are best placed to provide the 5G services. It is only in Ghana under the corrupt government of Akufo Addo, that a whole spectrum is given to one company without competitive bidding thereby robbing the country of revenue, and perhaps saddling the country with probably not the best company. Remember, African governments continue doing the wrong thing by their citizens because of the inability of the citizens to stop them. Ghanaians must not allow this deal to go through. And if Akufo Addoh and his cronies go ahead, the incoming government must cancel it. 5G is, according to the experts, the next big thing in communications technology and critical for the 4th industrial revolution. Akufo Addo and his government should not be allowed to sabotage this 4th industrial revolution in Ghana before it even starts. A competitive tender is required to get the best companies.

For me it's a crime,a minister who decide which company gets the contract based on her approval while it's a public auction. No matter the government has to publish it publicly to whom the contract was given!!
