This is exactly what I expect all the men and women of God in Ghana or Africa to do; be bold and speak the truth against all the political abuses that lead to destruction of society, creation of poverty and hardship which results in the deaths of multiple millions of innocent vulnerable people through suffering and lack of money or income to make a basic living. The best solution to all these political abuses is to end all political appointments and ensure that all public officials are elected by votes to become independent, competent, trustworthy, discipline, honest, transparent, incorruptible, and hardworking with solutions to societal problems, not thefts by investing into politics for appointments.

Remember, a journey of 1000 miles begins with just one step.

Politicians are the ones making laws including chieftancy laws, so they are our major major problem. They should strengthen, abide and enforce through the judiciary and security agencies.
Every human being, including those in the western world that we often praise, needs some kind of guidance and restrictions to put things right or in order.

It is fundamentally wrong to look at just the Politicians alone because the general public are no better. Corruption permeates every sphere of our lives in Ghana and also in most African countries. Just the other day I was talking to both Kenyan and Nigerian friends and they were highlighting the eye-watering levels of corruption in the nations they come from. I had been complaining of our situation in Ghana. They simply laughed and thought that Ghanaians were angels in comparison to their own citizenry when it comes to corruption. Unimaginable levels of corruption are also occurring in Asia North America, Latin America and Europe.

What we have is a misapplication of the American System (which operates in a Federal Environment), resulting in too much power vested in the Executive (i. e. the President), at the expense of Parliament ( and for that matter Accountability to the Citizenry).The Apostle did not touch on this, but it is very much part of the problem we have with our democracy.

Let my site just one example on the issue of tax exemptions to companies, we are told is last NDC government granted tax exemptions close to one billion dollars (1 billion dollars) MPS and Jata Cement are just a few companies. Today the same group of politicians are opposed to tax exemptions. I agree the issue of equalization must not be justified because that is why we voted for a change in government. The issue is that it appears democracy as practice in Ghana is needs a total overhaul.
