Who in his right senses will collapse so many banks and micro finance institutions just to come up with a development bank for mining/minerals? Next time he will be elsewhere talking about sustainable development. Guy is a bucket full of contradictions. Such a joke!

In any case what is your criteria for assessing the Agricultural Development Bank? And how do you mean by the failure of Agric Bank. Do an assessment of all the Ghanaian-owned banks and compare them with Agric Bank. You will see that your criteria for declaring a bank failure is just nonsensical. I wish to conclude by asking you to join the political race, bring out your ideas and let people assess your ideas. Never make yourself an examiner for banking issues. This is because you don’t have the ability to do that. Nonsense

This Mining Devt Bank will support Local companies, individuals or groups who intend to go to the mining sector to be key players retaining or forex in GH. Check out all are industries ( mining , telco, construction, and even manufacturing sectors are all bedeviled with foreign players. When will our so-called PHD (Pull Him Down) holders have the vision to move this country forward. They don't bring any solutions yet will shoot a good one down. I'm beginning to think the Ghanaian and by extention the African lacks the possibility mindset. China supports her own to go out and make money. They give interest free or low interests to their entrepreneurs to grow and end up being billionaires. In Africa we shoot anyone that wants to empower local industries. What a mindset!!!

  It's very surprising people can't develop any idea but will try their hardest to sabotage other ideas. Did Atuahene sit down to look at the merits and otherwise of this idea. Such a bank can support individual Ghanaians to go into mining rather than depending on foreigners to come and invest their money and take everything away and leave us with peanuts. We need to be critical thinkers and stop being narrow minded. Anyone who brings up a policy might have thought through it and researched so you should not come out and shut it down. We need progressive thinkers.
