So get that into your bloody filled brains for once. If the Attorney General refuses to accept a condition of a plea bargain or the vice versa what’s so wrong with it and the call for his resignation? NDC and shenanigans are bedfellows! It's only in Ghana that security experts reach such a bold conclusion without forensic investigation. Dr. Bonna has gotten himself trapped in a thermodynamic well of 'Fallacy of hasty conclusion'. A quick recap of the facts indicate that the NPP presser did mentioned that the NDC said they had 26 minutes recording but only chose to play 16 minutes instead of the full recording. So, clearly, this is not an issue of when "The record button" was pressed. It's an issue of choosing which parts of the tape to play to create the desired impression which is part of doctoring and that was the spirit of the NPP presser. I wouldn't say it was doctored or not, but rather call for a thorough investigation. If Godfred Dame and Justice Kolende are culpable they aren't above the law. But, one thing which doesn't make sense to me is how Godfred Dame would seek to coerce Jakpa to testify against Atto-Forson when he already has tonnes of evidence enough to prosecute his case. Jakpa and Atto-Forson are both accused in this case, so how would Jakpa's testimony against Atto-Forson save his own case? I would rather see this as a blackmail, and even if Godfred Dame goes down it doesn't change the facts on the ground. If I were Godfred Dame I would resign if the recording is true regardless of the intent of the meeting or the recording. I listened to the recording and it didn't even show any coercion but rather an argument between two people on an issue, but sometimes you accept the blame not because you are guilty but because you fell in the trap of evil plots. But, the prosecution will definitely be pursued to the end by his successor. Again, allegations are being made that John Dramani tried to coerce the president to intervene in this case. So, those calling for the head of Godfred Dame should make a similar call on JDM. You can't aspire to be president but engage in acts which shelves corrupt officials under prosecution. And it will be hypocritical if this isn't done.
