    Without this capital injection the Bank would have collapsed. Some years back, many banks collapsed helpless.

    Why is NIB so important to the country that such an injection of capital makes sense instead of just closing it down in an orderly process where open positions get transfered to other state owned back.

    If government has 2.3 billion cedis to recapitalize NIB why can't it pay bond holders and other debts? Is the government aware people moneys are locked in banks and they cannot access these funds to restart businesses?

    Very true Ibu. Dey other Banks dey collapsed and NAM 1 run freely. This money could have saved de whole of all collapsed Banks for de whole Ghana. Now a useless Bank chopp all, to print posters for a grinding mill owner.
