When President Akufo-Addo nominated Kissi Adjaben as the Special Prosecutor, Martin Kpebu and others criticized the president for it, saying Kissi wasn't qualified, and that, he got the nomination because he was the friend of Gaby Okyere Darko and Bediatuo Asante. After Kissi has been vetted and approved by Parliament, Martin Kpebu continued with the criticisms for a while. Amidu comes to request for the impeachment of Kissi, and Martin Kpebu turns round to suggest that the president asked Kissi Adjebeng to resign and he refused. If President Akufo Addo was the one who nominated Adjebeng in the first place, why would he go ahead a few months later to ask that he should resign after his confirmation? Sometimes Kpebu speaks like someone who's desperately trying to be recognized for a possible appointment in case John Mahama became president again. You behave like a serial caller. Stop it and behave like a lawyer.

The day I heard Mr Kpebu make this statement on TV, without any of the panelists challenging him about his source, I felt sad ! Ghanaian lawyers have had a lot of respect from the people because we never heard them present this kind of palmwine drinking spot ideas based on rumor or " yese, yesee "" and "akee, akee". He should just stay away from political discussions if , out of hatred for Akufo Addo, he would mislead people with information from unreliable sources.
