How did the OSP blow the whistle on Cecilia Dapaah? After a seven-month investigation, launched with much fanfare and which even involved collaboration with the FBI in America, he failed to produce any evidence of corruption or money laundering against the minister. Then he tried to shift the docket to EOCO. Is Martin Kpebu applauding this cop out?

Sometime you wonder how lawyers like Kpebu even win cases at the court. His sense of reasoning is weak to say the least. The current impeachment process against the SP is like what Hon Ken is fighting Anas in court. I will forever stand by any corruption crusader in advocacy but I will come down heavy on him/her if evidence are adduce that they are also corrupt. Remember former US Prez Barrack Obama, once advised African countries to build strong institutions not strong men. In fact Kissi Agyebeng poor handling of the case of Cecilia Dapaah let her off the hook. The expose did not come of the OSP but the Chronicle Newspaper. The poor handling of investigations on this matter led to her succeeding in her legal battle against the state. In fact Ghanaians must measure those who fight corruption with a higher standard of behaviour than any other public officer. If any of the allegations by Hon Martin Amedu is sustained after going through the proscribed legal journey, I will support a call on his impeachment. If it's true that the President advised the SP to resigned in the past, then this demonstrate that he is not cut for this job. Could the president have asked Martin Amedu to resigned during his tenure? Obviously not. Let me borrow the phrase of a former Auditor General, ' when you fight corruption, corruption will fight you back". You cannot live in glass house and through stones. Such acts can harm you too. We need someone who understands criminal law to assume the position of SP not academics whose poor legal showing in court is so shameful. In fact with the little information in public domain on Hon Cecilia Dapaah's trial, a little higher level of professionalism would have won the state a conviction.
If anyone wants ro fight against corruption, you must first examine yourself if you're cut for the job. You must be honest, fair, brave to take up such fights.
