  How much was the offer. What profits have those hotels made in the last five years. SSNIT is supposed to make investments like all insurance and pension groups and use the income to services it's clients. So why does the government think it should sell such investments? What is the money going to be used for.
  Is this not robbing the pension pot? First government must explain to us why they want to sell. The opposition parties are supposed to make noise about this scandal.

  THIS MUST BE STOPPED. No government official and its assigns must be allowed to participate in this offer. The best SSNIT can do is to float this on the public stock exchange and every Ghanaian be allowed to get one share each. No more. Giving such valuable state assets to one group and few persons is ethically wrong. Citizens must rise up against this. Or these vultures will take all the resources of the country for themselves.

  Common sense would dictate that SNNIT would even not have considered any bids from a PEP (politically exposed person) like Bryan Acheampong. Especially that he is a Minister of the ruling party. This is an illegality that can only happen in Ghana and Russia. Any party that wins the next election, in the exception of the NPP, should unwind this deal. It smells of corruption at its finest.

  Sometimes public officers behave as if they lack common sense. You've been given public property to manage in trust for a group of folks; now you decide to sell your stake in the business without having the courtesy of informing the owners? Why? The moment Akuffo Addo sacked the former CEO and brought in Osafo Marfo's son I knew something was being cooked up.
  Perhaps the previous CEO has been resisting the deals so Akuffo Addo has to remove him to pave the way for it to sail through. I believe Bryan is being used as a surrogate people are behind.
  NPP and shady deals....property owning indeed. Steal from the State and convert to yours rubbish. If Bryan can build Rock City why bother about buying already existing and profit making public hotels? Akronfuo NPP!!!

  Lack of knowledge is polluting our country. Even the so called educated ones don't read and research but rather bring out information to destroy others and create tension in the country. Why do we want to destroy ourselves. Government workers are the cause of the bad shape of government businesses. We want the hotels to be sold to people who will run it down or to foreigners. God have mercy on us.
