  If what is alleged, concerning the procurement breaches, is true, then his continuous stay in office reduces his moral authority and the public confidence reposed in him to fight corruption. He must then resign honourable to curtail further embarrassment.
  
  Procurement and its processes are the main factors behind corruption in the public service, from the procurement of human resource, award of contracts, to the purchase of common and everyday use stationery.

  Some people just jump to be on the side of Agyebeng without analyzing the issues. How can the removal of a person accused of corruption erode confidence in corruption fight? When Amidu labeled the president ‘mother serpent of corruption’, some people were happy. When the same Amidu initiated a corruption petition against the Special Prosecutor heaven broke loose. Let the law take its course, please.
