I seriously have a problem...what is the use of a regional minister if there is a mayor? One needs to go. Their roles would definitely be duplicating or interfering the other. Waste of resources...

I think he is trying to scam Ghanaians for votes , why can't they apply downsizing now?

Someone will say Bawumia is only the veep and so he doesn't call the shots, well
that is not entirely true.

Bawumia just promised a student that he is going to check with his minister of finance for the where abouts of the student allowance.

So think before putting out rebuttals.

A mayor duties are limited to the metropolitan assembly the Mayor is assigned whereas the regional minister oversees the entire region.

For example AMA has mayor but her jurisdiction is just Accra Metropolis ...

For example AMA has mayor but her jurisdiction is just Accra Metropolis but Greater Regional Minister supervises the whole MMDCs in Greater Accra region.

Somebody tell me what do these Ministers do? Are they just jobs for the Boys and Girls? It is a bit worrying to know individuals appointed, mandatet to do certain functions in the country at the same all we see is outright detoration in our public sector space. Is it time we start looking at individuals with merits to fill these positions if we want our dear country to move forward. We need selfless, dedicated and committed individuals with love for country to take up these duties. Lets stop these foolishnes and for one time get serious as a nation.
