  1. You politicians are not even correct and you want to correct someone. Talk to city planners and land commission officials. They say that you politicians are the cause of Accra's problems and filth. I won't even talk about protocol enlistment into the juiciest organisations and security services. You politicians are an undisciplined lot and have no business correcting anyone.
  
  2. Your appointing authorities in the public sector are themselves undisciplined. From running away from their offices to church programmes during working hours to having amorous relationships with their staff, we see it all. From using government property for their private business to holding unnecessary and excessive meetings just to make gargantuan sitting allowances to complete their building projects, we see it all. They lack the moral authority to discipline any staff or union member.
  
  3. Finally, it's no wonder that public sector indiscipline and productivity have remained low. Those of us who have held positions in the Unions have always been amazed at how issues concerning incorrigible staff are handled. There are laid down procedures for handling such staff but your appointing authorities who claim to be educated ignore these procedures in favour of the dictates of their egos and end up messing up. Do you expect the Union leadership to overlook these blunders and approve the dispatch of their own to the gallows? No sir! They will fight. That's the mess we find ourselves in.
