The I read about Dr Bawumia, the more I'm convinced that he speaks like a politician and not as an economist. I have not heard many people condenm the policy of free shs itself. What many people have condemned and are still condemning is the hurried implementation which has resulted in the policy not being as effective as it could have been. We still here reports of classes being conducted under trees. Our inability, as a country to, accept a mistake and learn from it is a major failure. According to Bawumia there's nothing wrong with the free shs policy and its implementation and therefore no lessons to be learned. No wonder, we continue to make the same policy mistakes. Dr Bawumia is, to put it charitably, very disingenuous.
