  In his inaugural speech the current president said the winning of political power must not be a means for politician to amass wealth and that those seeking money should go into the real sector of the economy where wealth is created. So the issue of his politicians being accused of the same things he promised to prevent is very difficult to understand
  Here on the western coast of Africa both Ghana and our big brother Ni9eria are experiencing a rapid depreciation of our currency due to what onlookers diplomatically term economic mismanagement and to give you a glimpse the past governor of the Central Bank of Ni9eria is facing trial over these same issues of mismanagement the issue to adopting the dollar in these turbulent times can not be out of the equation the local currency is in free fall and pegging it to the dollar will rent it some stability,like most of our Francophone brothers whose currency is pegged to that of the mother/father country. Some South American economies have their currency pegged to the dollar for the same reason Dr. is advocating but the issue is with Party Politics being the only show in town, is the aFrican politician capable of reasoning
