Mr Haruna, kindly tell Ghanaians why the President is always the last person to report to official function. After that, do Ghanaians a favour by mentioning one single country in the world where participants of a public functions remain seated when the President arrives at the function to either welcome and/or greet him. Again, Haruna tell Ghanaians in which palace in Ghana that the President has ever visited and ordered the host Chief to rise to welcome or greet him. You see, dirty politics has made the likes of you to speak and behave as though you are toddlers. Your over ambitious Presidential candidate who in my view supposed to know better, because he has been President of Ghana before, regretted has been very disappointing when I heard his comments on the issue at stake. Our chiefs must speak for themselves for the have allowed there politicians to strip them ofvtheir ebviablevregalua and authority for far too long. When politicians need land they run to the traditional Lords, bug the minerals embedded in the land, the chiefs and traditional authorities, the owners and custodians of the land and culture, cannot have any authority over their own property or heritage. Is this not a contradiction and manipulation by the elites? I expect our revered chiefs to speak and act with authority about the way politicians have taken them for granted. Politicians are looting state resources and are growing richer while the poor are poorer. Politicians are advocating for immoral values which are against traditional and moral values, but the traditional custodians of the land are silent, doing nothing about redeeming the image of their future they are mandated to safeguard. I expect chiefs to speak against the president's arrogance and unwillingness to sign the bill before him passesd by Parliament to protect the family against sexual immorality. Why are our chiefs afraid of protecting what belongs them, their own cultural values? If our chiefs cannot defend and protect their own heritage, then how.can their subjects trust them or respect them? A word to the wise is enough!
