You think the current natural resources that your area is well endowed is because you are special people. As Zimmerman said, "resources are not, they become", In future, more precious resources like iron, Lithium, etc will be discovered in other parts of Ghana which will be for the country. Oil was discovered in commercial quantities in western region which are far more in terms of revenue than your gold and cocoa. Don't forget gold is everywhere including northern, upper east, etc. So please, empty arrogant ashantis, God loves all of us and everywhere is made of useful resources, even if not yet discovered.

Even my kids in the US elementary school learn about the Ashanti, they’ve never been to Ghana before but they read about them in schools and my son asked me if they were Ashantis simply because he felt proud at school when they read about them. Let’s all stop the hate towards the Asantes because we are one people and their history puts us all on the world map. When the Otumfuo came to Memphis they blocked an entire huge road for the entire day he had his meeting with his people this shows how powerful he is. Not even the Ghanaian president can enjoy that kind of respect in the US here

THE CONSTITUTION OF LESOTHO: #WHY THERE IS NO KING IN WEST AFRICA.
1. Lesotho shall be a sovereign democratic kingdom.
44. There shall be a King of Lesotho who shall be a constitutional monarch and Head of State.
48. The King shall have such Civil List as may be provided by Parliament and that Civil List shall be a charge upon the Consolidated Fund and shall not be reduced during the King's continuance in office
49. The King shall be entitled to immunity from taxation in respect of his Civil List, all income accruing to him in his private capacity and all property owned by him in his private capacity.
54. There shall be a Parliament which shall consist of the King, a Senate and a National Assembly
86. The executive authority of Lesotho is vested in the King and, subject to the provisions of this Constitution, shall be exercised by him through officers or authorities of the Government of Lesotho.
87. There shall be a Prime Minister who shall be appointed by the King acting in accordance with the advice of the Council of State.
92. The King's right to be consulted and informed concerning matters of government
The King shall have the right to be consulted by the Prime Minister and the other Ministers on all matters relating to the government of Lesotho and the Prime Minister shall keep him fully informed concerning the general conduct of the government of Lesotho and shall furnish him with such information as he may request in respect of any particular matter relating to the government of Lesotho.

93. The King, acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister, may appoint Deputy Ministers, to deputise Ministers in the performance of their duties, from among the members of the National Assembly or from among the Senators who are nominated as Senators by the King under section 55 of this Constitution:
Provided that, if occasion arises for making an appointment while Parliament stands dissolved, a person who immediately before the dissolution was a member of the National Assembly or was such a Senator as aforesaid may be appointed as a Deputy Minister
101. The King may--
grant to any person convicted of any offence under the law of Lesotho a pardon, either free or subject to lawful conditions;
grant to any person a respite, either indefinite or for a specified period, of the execution of any punishment imposed on that person for such an offence;
substitute a less severe form of punishment for any punishment imposed on any person for such an offence; and
remit the whole or part of any punishment imposed on any person for such an offence or any penalty or forfeiture otherwise due to the King on account of such an offence.

They humiliated us by destroying and referring to our Thrones as “ STOOLS “ The glorified name for a Royal commode or a Shit bowl in GREAT BRITAIN. Henry the V111, named his toilet bowl ,( the commode )a Royal STOOL and had it covered with velvet. To make a mockery of our Royalty , the Colonial governments named our THRONES stools and our Kings Chiefs. I have always questioned the wisdom of referring to our Royal Thrones as Stools.. We have Chiefs who are Historians, Lawyers Academics etc… .and surprisingly the denigration and insulting description of their Royal thrones has not caused them any EMBARRASSMENT.. We have a Chieftaincy Minister according to our constitution but I am afraid I don’t understand their duties. After more than 60 years of Independence we still refer to our monarchs as chiefs. All our Paramount Chiefs with sub chiefs under their command are Kings and Not paramount chiefs. I very much doubt this matter will ever come up for any serious debate or discussion considering the recent alleged public humiliation of some chiefs by our PRESIDENT.
