The theft and mismanagement in our public institutions are appalling, from the presidency down to messengers. You will give this contract out and yet saddle ECG with redundant staff who have to be paid. The alternative will be to retrench them. Do you have the money to pay for retrenchment? Why can't we set proper performance benchmarks for these people and sack them for non performance so people will sit up? Hire the right management and give them the free hands to work, this will not be necessary. It's just another avenue to scoop the little money left family and friends.

Those subscribers who are on prepaid contracts if you don't have credit on your Phone , you cannot make calls
Those who have monthly Billing contracts,- if 2 months you don't pay your Bills the line would be subsequently taken out until you pay the Bills.

$why can't you shift to the pre-paid ?

ECG don't want to go for the prepaid metering because there they cannot say the customers are not paying their Bills while they have indeed collected all the money.
