What the hell is the craze for all the silly taxes around. You bunch of criminals as leaders can't govern this small country well after all the natural resources. All you know is taxing the poor and overburdening taxpayers to death.

It's only a puppet African leader who goes to the West to take ill lectures from the imperialist Western leader that nations are built by taxes which is a FAT lie.

What actually builds a nation faster is the natural resources of a nation and we have seen Libya, Dubia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar etc done it with their God given mineral resources.

No sensible person with loads of mineral resources dashes it out for pittance and turn around to over burden the poor citizens of the little they're struggling to manage.

They are right when services like the utilities are available ready to be connected to those properties to ask for a compensating tax or levy to offset their expenditure and continue maintaining those services.

Oced rules will dictate who assess the tax..if Ghana has assess to it then the foreign jurisdiction will rectify by credit if evidence can be shown that Ghana has charged the tax. You are right in the end 1 tax will be paid but who gets it...for a long time Ghana do explore this and many of the income remain in the form jurisdiction. The dynamics is changing and many Ghanaians now like in the diaspora and created income streams..many return back home during retirement and become long term resident in Ghana..those income coming back monthly may be liable to be taxed in Ghana and not the foreign jurisdiction...ghana shouldn't be loosing everytime..if we love Ghana let's pay to Ghana when required. We are quiet when foreign govt tax us . We don't even talk..can understand they use of the tax is what make pple frown..but we need to start from somewhere by paying and put pressure on govt about the use..hold them accountable to it
