You guys should fight for a raise in your salaries, the stupid government is cheating u, you are being paid less than two thousand cedis in a month as professional teachers, whilst their empty headed presidential staffers gets closer to ten thousand or more a month, this meagre salary will always force u to do things u are not supposed to, fight them, you shouldnt teach if they dont adhere to your request, abandon the classrooms, its an election yr, their stupid hands are in your mouths.

As far back as 2013 a friend of my returned from abroad after further studies and wanted to go back to GES because he was a teacher b4 he left. After putting in loads of application without success somebody offered to help him but he had to pay 1000 cedis then which was equivalent of $ 500 then. He refused and sold his plot of land he intended developing and went back. He is now citizen of US and has built a bigger house in an expensive location. So yea even becoming a teacher after passing your LICENSURE EXAMS you might have to pay bribe before you get posting to most likely a remote area.
