    The world price of cocoa is over $9500 per tone which is over Ghc120,000 and the government is paying the farmer only Ghc 33,000?
    No wonder the CEO and workers pay themselves fat salaries while the farmer suffers.

    How much did NDC pay when the price was $7000 per ton in 2015 . NDC paid cocoa farmers GHS 7000

    It is our stupidity that has made the politicians take advantage of everybody. I support NPP but I know NDC is not the yardstick. What they did doesn’t make what is happening now right. Use your brain.

    Nothing will change to improve the welfare of farmers, as long as thief Akuffo Addo is still in Jubilee House. That man is very unscrupulous and callous. All he knows and dreams of are the schemes to loot.

    How much is cocoa currently at the world market? Is it $10,000,then ,the increment is a peanut and a cheat and disrespect for the ordinary farmer.
    Cocoa Board pay huge salaries and allowances to themselves but farmer a dime.

    Please correct the tonne figure in the last but three paragraph which reads Ghc2,980.00 instead of Ghc20,980.00.
