Bryan Acheampong is a minister of state and he should act responsibly. He has repeatedly made incendiary comments over the years about his party winning the incoming presidential elections at all cost and that the NPP will not hand over power to the NDC. He even went further by stating that the NPP has the men and will face off the NDC if the stage becomes confrontational. This man is inciting violence ahead of the elections yet the Council of Elders, Christian Council, National house of chiefs , Security Council, the military chiefs and the IGP have been silent on this matter and have not called Bryant Acheampong to order.
If these comments were made by an NDC member, the security agencies will have arrested that individual for questioning and even jailed for making threatening statements.
If the NDC should also start with making counter punching statements towards that of Bryan Acheampong, the peace that Ghana wants will elude all of us . It is surprising that Bryan Acheampong who has a lot to lose in the event of any chaos should be the one making these unwarranted threatening statements .
