When the issue of dumsor is being discussed, please avoid mentioning Maamah's name. The biggest sin of NPP is that they fail to talk when they should.......only to start saying annoying words at the most inopportune time. Dumsor justifiably started in Kuffuor's time when the world price of crude oil shot up to $145 a barrel. Dumsor got much worse under Mills and Maamah's presidencies when the world price fell to its lowest level ever. It even fell to $28 a barrel; but we were plunged into a dumsor which had never been seen before and which has still not been seen. In Nana's time the price rose to $120. Even today, 29th March, a barrel costs $87. So, all those anti-NPP and unpatriotic people jumping up and down about dumsor should give us a break. And we should all be careful about what we pray for. Because, we might just get it. The fact is that as poorly as Nana is perceived to be doing, Maamahwould have done worse. After losing the national election, didn’t he try to gift the Nyinahin bauxite deposit to himself and his mishpucha? If only Maamah had been president during covid, many of us alive today would have perished. Maamah for president again?......Perish the thought!

Most often than not, we are first to disrespect and despise others with inconsiderate mentally as if it is our divine entitlement to do so. We're always call others distasteful names such as Ntafuor, Mpepefuor, Ayigbe Togolese, etc., but are the first to accuse those we have disrespected for hating [Asantes] us. How on earth do you expect the people we disrepect to be embracing us with both arms? Even dogs hate those who hate them.

Elsewhere, we are always in the front lines of anti racism demonstrations without thinking we're equally guilty of its sister crime, tribalism. Senior political leaders in the region such Wontumi and the regional minister, have all been using despicable tribal comments to describe our northern brothers and sisters who we have intermarried and lived with harmoniously over the centuries.

Truth be told and this is factually accurate. Imprint of their [mostly Northerners, (Dagombas particularly) and Burkinabes], DNAs can be traced in us including occupants of our kingdom and traditional chieftaincy rulers, but for matrimonial heritage sake. I leave it there for thinkers to reason historical facts out.
