So injunction was to get the court to ask your landlord, and the investors and contractors redeveloping the site to fold their arms and wait for you earn more from the dome whilst their costs escalate. They should rather take you to court to pay fully for the cost of delays they have to incur. You are able to wait because of the insignificant rent you pay. If you were paying market rates nobody will force to move from a dusty construction site

That delay tactics that some Ghanaians employ to frustrate rightful owners are not helping anyone. We must always consider the benefits of the majority of the people but not an individual and we must stop politicising everything. If you are a tenant and your contract expires, the decision to renew the contract rest on the landlord either to renew it or otherwise. Even if the rented area is to be used for a different purpose or not the landlord can refuse to renew the contract. If the tenant feels he has been given a raw deal, he can seek a redress in court.

Leslie you had a contract, it has expired, but you STILL want to stay there! I mean how? If you were the trade fair ppl will you do that?
They gave the place to you for a number of years in the contract. Though they wanted to expand, they waited patiently for you for 12months for your lease to expire before asking you to leave. They have done NO WRONG! You knew your lease was going to expire too so you should have started looking somewhere else to transfer your dome when your contract expires but you think you could pay a judge to give you an injunction? Corruption is what has gotten you to where you are now with the dome brought down.
Pick up your losses and learn from this lesson. You can’t eat your cake and have it. The GTFC did what they had to do and took back what rightfully belongs to them . Finito

Whose idea is it that a state property should be rented for a permanent investment? Abd how much didvtecstate benefit from this corrupt arrangement? Even if the tenancy agreement ended on 31st December 2023, is it not too shirt a time to enforce relocation? Again was immediately vacating from the property and handing over to the Ghana Trade Fair Authority, part of the tenancy agreement? Please do us a favor by publishing the tenancy agreement.

This objectively and ask relevant questions to enlighten the public. Trade Fair Grounds is undergoing 100% redevelopment. Its now a massive construction site. When was the last time an event was hosted at the FD? When was the first notice served to the tenant, was it different from all other tenants. What steps had he taken to leave the construction site. Can the project construction go on with FD still intact. How will the underground drainage, power and utility lines without demolishing and excavating the grounds. Once the contractors had deployed and started construction who would pay for the cost of delays, and its impact on other stages of the contract and investment attraction. No one has asked these questions and are rather defending one tenant's interest over the interest of several investors and contractors involved in the multi million dollar project. If his small portion with temporary structures cost him USD 5 m, can he imagine how much the redevelopment of the entire land with permanent structures cost and the implications of cost over runs due to delays cause by him. Now instead of move his structures he preferred to go to court to stop the legitimate exercise of the right of the landlord to eject the intransigent tenant. After delaying for more than two years of notice he wasn't going to leave with out a fight, so he could lay claim to20m for a 5m investment, despite the very law rent paid for occupancy of this land. This rather a tenant bullying his landlord to breaking point.
