Responses and myopic defence from NPP FoolSoldiers indicate they actually don't understand 24-hour economy concepts or they are as dumb as usual. Because technically, not all systems and departments work within the 24-hour economy system in developed countries. Those that are compatible operate with some doing 18-hour 2 shifts instead of 24-hour 3 shifts. So what is it so difficult for these daunce to comprehend?

It's not doable, but rather its not practicable or sustainable. The chief Justice shift is to address bottlenecks in Justice delivery using the current workforce without further burden on the payroll. Meaning it is a temporal arrangement driven by demand and necessity, not seeking to solve unemployment problem as a continuous policy proposed by John Dramani. Can government force businesses to do 24-hours? Should government employ more staff to non-profit public offices to work 24/7 and burden the payroll without any profit? How many people will go to the chop bar, groceries, supermarket, etc after midnight which will warrant paying employees to work throughout the night. Your party says they will provide provide financial support and incentives to businesses. Great! But what happens to the large goods produced without demand? How would businesses recover their investment, remain solvent, and manage their payrolls when there's no ready market for the goods. Before you tell me you will create market, you should know they're already struggling for market with their current level of production. In short, this politically motivated policy will end up siphoning money to cronies with nothing to show and cripple our economy. It is not sustainable based on the questions surrounding it. No government around the world has such policy. Rather, businesses opt to run 24/7 base on demand. Even in the most advanced countries public offices closes by 5pm except the essential services like security, utility, and health institutions. These institutions are already doing 24-hours in Ghana. Factories with high demand are already running 24/7. We need to expand our economy to address unemployment instead of increasing the operational hours without economic sense. The other day, the NDC said they can make DVLA and passport offices 24-hours. Assuming all 30million Ghanaians will register cars or apply for passports. They will be served after 1 year if 24-hours economy and what next? It doesn't make sense. What we need is efficiency. With digitalization a person should be able to walk in DVLA and be served within an hour. So instead of thinking forward, the NDC are thinking backwards.

Cudjoe understand that nobody is saying that 24-hour economy is not possible, what we are saying however, is that it doesn’t take a government to do that but demand and supply. No government can force factories to operate overnight if their products are not in high demand. You can’t legislate that as well. That is the point

The Mahama twenty four hours system is to help reduce the huge unemployment the nation is facing. And he has not been able to explain how is it going to work. Is the government who is going to employ people to work at night or going to give subsidies to private companies to hire people to work at night even if the demand is not there for their products
This Mahama and the Ndc has not been able to explain
But what the Chief Justice is saying the court is going to use the judges to work nights to clear up the huge court cases. The court is not going hire any more judges to do that but will rather use the same judges to run shifts

Franklin cudjoe is a known sympathiser of ndc . He had the chief justice message on a wrong foot . I have realised that the so called think tank immani president has myopic understanding of the 24hr economy being touting by John mahamah airbus government official one. How can Extending courts sitting to 6pm could be blended as a 24hr economy. No wonder the so called think tank is seeing as nothing before a decimal point. It's time Franklin cudjoe remove his ndc spectacle and be abreast with the truth . Civil servants closed at 5pm , why is it that Franklin cudjoe failed to place it at the 24hr economy. Give us a break and stop your beer bar politicking. John mahamah is a failed candidate and come 7th December, 2024 John mahamah shall not cross 49% . Mark it on the wall .
