The Netherlands attempted to entice African athletes with a $100 monthly salary and additional rewards for victories if they switched allegiance, with the obvious aim of boosting their chances of winning more medals on the global stage. Numerous Ghanaian athletes were approached but declined the offer, opting to relocate to the USA with their families instead. While Gaisah could have rejected the proposal, his greed led him to compete under a flag of convenience. His sole agenda in joining our team is to persuade talented prospects to change nationalities, guiding them through the process while taking a share of the benefits. It's no secret that many young athletes aspire to pursue opportunities abroad, so with a disloyal head coach, Ghana risks losing its promising talents to wealthy nations and certain European countries.
