    Pension is taxable when it exceeds the taxable threshold. Any income is basically taxable after deducting allowable expenses.

    Most Ghanaians living abroad are not affected by this. A resident Ghanaian is one who spends more than 183 day a year in Ghana.

    If you live and work outside Ghana and you DON'T SPEND MORE THAN 183 DAYS in Ghana then you are not affected.
