So it is a fallacy to suggest that Hon Kyei Mensah was booted out because he supported the bill. Otherwise I dont see how Afenyo Markins would have been appointed in his stead because he too voted for the passage of the bill.

Recently, when Mahama said he wouldn't support LGBT+Q, Andrew Solomon wrote to him saying that Mahama has betrayed the values of LGBT+Q of which both of them believe. He again said, he and Mahama had been attending gay marriages in England and in the US. There is the saying that, show me your friend and I will tell you your character. So, Mahama cannot say he doesn't support gay marriage. It has been going rounds that Mahama is angry with Sam George for leading the advocacy of the anti-gay bill.
