No wonder, the country is in disarray, the curse of Nkrumah has been with us from the day he was betrayed buy his own people he fought for independence, now look at how we are struggling to write history, aren't we ashame of ourselves, comparing us to our peers in gaining independence, where do we stand? and foolishly going to beg those hypocrites who we aided to commit such heinous crime on ourselves.
We need to reset ourselves to be able to get it right, by electing leaders who have the country at heart not those who think it's about amassing wealth selfishly.

Point of Correction. It was the National Liberation Council( NLC) that overthrew Nkrumah, and not NRC.

I think Alhaji got the history totally wrong. What brought about the introduction of the PDA and the one party state which was constitutionally and democratically enacted by the Parliament of Ghana? Just few examples of why the PDA was introduced: The lawlessness and total hate perpetrated by the opposition at the time, The attempt to take his life by bombing him NINE times, shotting in his house at the Flagstaff house, ponding of womens' private parts in Kumasi, kulugungu bombing, etc.
So, if there was such a wicked and irresponsible opposition just like today's NPP, what should a responsible majority in parliament and the government do? Please, Alhaji, go and read and stop this foolish debate.

Western countries(the USA and the UK) teamed up with the opposition then, in today's Ghana the NPPs overthrew Kwame Nkrumah and finally poisoned him. Western countries' idea was that Kwame Nkrumah uniting Africa and struggling for independence to African countries would end Western countries looting our resources, among others. Kwame Nkrumah's death was a huge loss to Ghana, Africa, and north America.

your name depicts your character. You are indeed CARLOUs! Have you read about Ghana's history than anybody? You are a big FOOL! Where was Nkrumah taking Ghana to? Your people said he was into prestigious projects and what have you. If not for such projects where would Ghana have been? No Akosombo, no Tema motorway, No secondary schools like Ghana National, Yaa Asante Waa girls, Tweneboa Kodua, Techiman sec, Sunyani Sec, Navasco, Azoka sec, Kanton sec, Konogo-odumase sec, Nfanstiman Girls, etc, etc.
Apart from Nkrumah, its JM who tried building another 200 SHSs known as the E-Blocks. In 50 years from now people who accuse him of building the schools in bushes will see the vision the JM had just like Father Nkrumah.
Long live Nkrumah, Long Live Ghana, Long live Africa. Nkrumah never Dies.

On 24th February, 1966 I was then 13 years old, and that was the day, military and police imperialist quislings decided to embrace servitude in tranquility.
They together with their disappointed in life intellectuals who have the dream of selling our independence to the white man, gave back the independence we won on 6th March, 1957 back to the British.
Ghana then became a fully fledged neocolonial country.
The imperialist who were on the side of the fascist colonial regimes and apartheid in Southern Rhodesia, South Africa and South Western Africa rejoiced that the struggle of Africans against colonialism, neocolonialism, apartheid and fascism will come to an end.
They made sure that the dim the national liberation struggle light which was lighted by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
They exposed all the freedom fighters then training in Ghana to overthrow apartheid and fascism on the continent, dismantle all what Ghanaians establish, not excluding youth organizations.
Take note that the Young Pioneers were led by the Ghanaian clergy, both Christian and Islam.
That was the reason why most of the Young Pioneers' songs had Christian songs in form.
The imperialist and their quislings did not only ban the Convention Peoples' Party that gain independence for Ghana, but also the Workers' Brigade that saw over 250,000 Ghanaians losing their jobs in a single day.
Ghana and the patriotism that Kwame Nkrumah, CPP and Young Pioneers inculcated in Ghanaians was killed, replace by the singing of praise for our imperialist oppressors.
Africa shall n'e forgive
Brutal murder of her sons.
By the hands of our oppressors.
Nkrumah is now no more.
Nkrumah, Nkrumah, Nkrumah,
May his soul go marching on.
In the declassified documents of the imperialist countries years after the overthrow of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah all the lies about his dictatorship by imperialist government and their secret agencies were exposed.
The issues that those secrete services declassified document dealt with was Kwame Nkrumah's economic and social emancipation of Africa.
Britain for instance said after independence Kwame Nkrumah sent their top civil servants who were in Ghana, receiving salaries and repatriating it home to lose their positions in Ghana.
The agriculture, industrialization, commence, shipping and airflight through which British companies make money and repatriate the same home were lost, as the state ventured into those aspects of human endeavour.
The irony is that in 1966 both Britain, US and their NATO allies did not accord the right to human dignity to any person of the Necroed race.
All what the west talk about democracy is all about how they control the lives of other people, and at times when they ferment troubles, making people to assassinate, murder and maim each other as a form of entertainment.
So the west has turned the majority of nations in the world to some sort of Roman Empire entertainment arena.
