Ejisu must be special place in Ashanti region, there's nothing good comes out of Ashantis but that particular place i respect them. I love Yaa Asantwaa soo much. Who said the women can't do better, give them a chance.

My brother say that again o. This lady's father was a Rev Minister of Methodist church, so she schooled at Wenchi because her dad was transferred there. In Ghana's standard you cant say she was poor and had to see to pay her fees. She had good opportunities in education and made good use of it. She and Kwame Pianim are family members.

That's awesome! Prof., Kumaricans are very proud of you. Due to the misinformation that Ashantis' women are less educated in Ghana and they are only interested in trading, I was expecting a person from different Region in Ghana. Well Ashantis' used to trade to support themselves in school because free SHS wasn't for everyone in Ghana.

Say it like it is. If this lady came from the VOLTA REGION, this site would have been flooded with all sorts of insults and whatever but. Voltarians seems to be the only tribe in Ghana who are well educated but the article had made Ghanaians understand that the first "Female Ghanaian professor" came from the people who were often times, described as "Bush people", funny isn't it?

My first research goes into which area was the person's professorship? Being a professor in African studies is a LOW GRADE. Being a professor in Cultrual and traditional studies?

Congratulations, Madam. You have done well. You remind me of the likes of Ama Atta Aidoo, the first published African woman dramatist, and Efua Sutherland. Lift High the Flag of Ghana.
