  Where are the Hon Sam Georges, the Hon Bedzrahs, the Foh Amoanings, etc who simply want to draw this country back from the excellent state of rule of and by law into a state of rule of and by heart. This country has enough socioeconomic problems to confront and the last time I checked the private behavior and practice of deviant sexual orientation was, could, and should not be one of them. Those who see it as an eyesore (assuming they pay to watch it) or as a heartache ought not drag the whole nation into such a miniscule issue of no consequence. As I have said elsewhere and wish to repeat here, the only meaningful firewall to erect in the circumstance is for the state to refuse to recognize conjugal rights between gays and lesbians. That is rule of law steeped in all customary, cultural, and religious beliefs of Ghana.

Some times, common sense must be applied on certain things to avert unnecessary argument in the country. Everyone's right has a limit. That's why we are not allowed to do certain things. Those who steal, engage in corruption, fight, abuse someone verbally etc also have their fundamental human right. Why do we arrest and prosecute them.
