Now tell me? What real leverage does Ghana actually have against the US of A? What does Ghana offer America that they can't get elsewhere and live without? The truth is, nothing. Ghana credit rating is abysmal since defaulting on their obliged debts so no other country is willing to lend the country money than the American institution, IMF, thats keeping the Ghanaian economy afloat. US also provides Ghana considerable aid for its various programs like for Malaria for instance and gives the country duty free tariff it enjoys through the AGOA.

Even if you vote out all of NPP, Mahama is not going to sign the bill into law either because the risks outweigh the benefits to which there are no benefits other than crazy religious nujobs doing the biddings of foreign Christo-fascist interests.

Also, Russia is the most sanctioned country in the world, their entire economy is now completely driven by the war in Ukraine – it cannot afford to lose, but nor can it afford to win either. Currently, Russia is facing enormous problems because of collapsing public services, an exodus of the young and educated population, massive wartime casualties and an industry focused on wartime production.

Inshort, Ghana is screwed if this becomes law.

Do IMF believe they can impose bullying on us to accept nefarious practices? We must begin sending anyone engaged in such behavior to the USA if they approve, but here, we reject those practices of LGBTQ+, unequivocally. We cannot practice evil things in our countries here in Africa. You see how we Africans are vulnerable to the whites , you see Britain are sending anyone caught illegal immigration to Uganda and that is totally nonsense too. Why should the World Bank support useless programmes and projects in this country, thus creating problems for us. Most of their funding now is on training, training and training. What about the existing resources generated from public funds such as tax revenues? What are their uses? Now, they support these useless programmes by recruiting consultants, so called experts who are basically doing nothing. There are lined up of useless projects on-going indiscriminately. As a retired civil servant, I can attest to this fact and reveal that until these things are checked, Ghana is going no where. Our problems are caused largely by those unscrupulous civil servants.

LGBTQi+ is not part of the aims and objectives of IMF, on any country required to assess their loan facilities. Nigeria, Morocco and other countries in Africa and other parts of the world after passing their anti LGBTQi+ bill have never been denied assessing the IMF loan facilities.This is just a plot by some Ghanaian officials to intentionally use IMF to blackmail Ghanaians to just create some fear and panic. Most of these people which includes the president, Gabby Okyere Darko, Ofori Atta and other members of this government have stashed unexplained and stolen monies into various accounts outside Ghana and if they don't help the West to succeed on this agenda, those monies shall be frozen and returned to the state. That is one of the major reasons behind why this NPP government is condoning to the dictates of the West. Parts of those monies are for their campaign.
