Just the adulation of becoming the Head of State of Ghana and Not preparing for it. A Real statesman should have used his time in Exile to prepare himself with proper leadership plans. This guy was rather very busy planning the destruction of the economy of Ghana and the overthrow of the Kwame Nkrumah government with the help of the Western powers. This Clown had to rush to these various countries to help him out. Instead of keeping and improving on the best of Dr. NKRUMAH’s policies on the training of the youth and other systems like the Workers Brigade, Builders Brigade,State Farms cooperate farms hundreds of factories etc..he foolishly agreed with the Western governments who are the real enemies of Africa and practically, systematically and clandestinely destroyed everything that Dr. NKRUMAH provided for the building of the Nation. God saw him as a number enemy of Ghana and Africa and took him off immediately.

Who said so? The British Prime Minister, Edward Heath, the man who refused him the loan in his autobiography.

Now, this is what useless Busia did in 1965 just to give Nkrumah a bad name. The doubting Thomas's can easily Google the info below and it will come up. That traitor and nation-wrecker Busia could pit out the amount Ghana had in reserves at the time of independence compared to Ghana's debt at the time of the coup. The mis-educated Busia apparently failed to realize that those reserves had to be applied towards the many infrastructure projects that Nkrumah government had embarked on. There were factories springing up in all the regions across Ghana, and schools were also being built. Even economic giants like the USA and other nations today have incurred huge dents, and that's not because of mismanagement, but rather because of borrowing towards meaningful programs. It was easy for Busia and his Busia/Danquah Traitors to work with the USA and its CIA to undermine Ghana's progress by plotting the overthrow of the Nkrumah government. But when it came time to being a leader himself, Busia proved to be a farce, just a lackey of Afrifa, the same Afrifa who passed several NLC edicts restricting CPP members from contesting elections so that Busia could easily be elected into office. What a painful tragedy it must have been for Busia, to have conspired against your own country for the sake of achieving political power through evil backdoor means, only to find himself a victim of a coup after only a brief stint in office. It must be Karma.

Nkrumah and his team did not make false promises of district factories, they built factories across Ghana, and many of these factories still stand today. Many new schools were springing up in all the regions of Ghana. Ghanaians had pride in their country, and they were not trying to leave Ghana for other countries. Under Nkrumah, Ghana was not a beggar nation, and Ghana commanded high respect around the globe, with foreigners waiting for years to receive a visa just to come and see "Nkrumah's Ghana".
