Sorry to use such uncouth statement against the Vice President.

For your information, the other two Liberians and the Togolese escaped to take refuge at Petrol Filling Station situated about 150 meters away from the scene of crime to escape being lynched.

They met an armed Navy Officer who was manning the place and immediately they tagged them as armed robbers and were subjected to severe beatings.

The Togolese lost two of his teeth and one of the Liberians nearly lost one of his ears.

Sensing the danger, the Navy Officer called for re-enforcement and the alleged suspects where rescued to Naval base Tema.

They were finally handed over to Fishing Harbour Police Station.

I took statement from the Driver but the other two occupants failed to show up.

You should rather sympathy with the Vice and his partners for the ordeal they went through.

TRUTH WILL ALWAYS STAND.

If this policeman was biased which could have landed the man in prison, he wouldn't have had to chance to become a prominent figure in Liberia talk less becoming the country's VP and there would be no reason for any of them to revisit this event. The policeman is probably a Fanti, the late Atta Mills proved to us that he's not corrupt. If it was a policeman from other tribes in Ghana, he would have stolen all the buried $40,000 and accepted the first $1000 offered him in addition.

Now the VP can show appreciation by compensating him fatly than he had wanted to do. Kudos to this CID man!

Thereafter, the two managed to come Ashaiman Police Station where they also lodged complaint of Robbery against the driver and the other two occupants

During the investigations he initially refused to show me but when could not bear the ordeal going through, led me to the spot where he buried the said amount.
