When I was a student in Nigeria in the 80's, a loaf of bread sold at 20k and a tin of milk was less than 1.00NGN. Currently let's ask from the Nigerians residing in Ghana the prices of tgese items. At that time 1.00 NGN went for between 50-60 Cedis (old Cedis). Currently 1 Ghc goes for almost 133 NGN. During those times 1NGN was almost £1 (BP) and greater than US$1. But now US$1 is about 1. 600 NGN.
In the 70's a ball of Ghana Kenkey sold in Accra at about 2 1/2 pesewas (Two and half pesewas) and it could satisfy people who didn't have enough stomach space to consume 2 balls. Sammy and all who debate like him should know that prices can't remain static.

Ghanaians, arise do your backyard gardening and you will get more to eat. Most food vendors take advantage of their area and sell their foods at any price they want. At times the quality is not up to standard. Kenkey being sold at certain areas taste as if lime juice has been added to the corn dough but they still sell at a higher price.

The same products with diference prices. Some of the traders inflate their prices to maximise their profit. One has to go round and check prices before buying. When there is demand, prices go up
