The law was prepared and delivered in a steaming cooking of rebuff western pressure to legalise LBGT+ rights, then spiced with politics, prejudice, misplaced nationalism and religious fervour, without due consideration to human rights protection. The outcome is that we now have a law that has to go to the Supreme Court for final determination of its legality in line with rights guaranteed in the constitution. Let's all be patient.
