You are right. There are some volatile areas in the country that the Military would be needed to maintain peace and order before, during, and after the elections. One such areas is Bawku. The Police alone cannot maintain law and orde there during such times. If you just vote and don’t cause trouble, the Soldiers will not have problems with you. The problem starts when some people vote and not only stay behind but to cause problems and confusion.
Voters should understand that even if your party wins, very very very few will be appointed to political positions or be given contracts so people should use their brains and don’t go looking for trouble for themselves and their families. Fools die for lack of wisdom.

We vividly understood him,and my advice to him was not based on only this,he seems to have developed a penchant for hopping from one TV or radio station to another,talking and making noise,we are all in solidarity with him for how the wicked Akuffo Addo and his government treated him,but the way to go now is to legally fight underground to claim every penny of compensation that he deserves with his lawyers and not to be running his mouth about all over the place,he should learn to ignore certain questions,there aee certain things that his opinion isn't needed or less or of no importantance and so therefore he should shut up about it.

We are not in a War front as such the police must be strong enough to deal drastically with troublesome individuals who will like to exhibit foolishness during the election. No matter who the hell is. Any individual or group of people who dare mess up in and around poll station must be silenced and let them realize their foolishness by the police. The presents of the police must serve as a warning to all. Period.

Thank you. Never have I seen nor heard military left out of election security, not even in the USA. Their role will be limited to say patrols and called in as a second or third level reenforcement force
