We have to do something about the Ashanti region. Thief Panama Kufuor just created so many useless constituencies in Ashanti region. Constituencies are mostly created on population basis. Greater Accra has the largest population of 3.5 million voters and Ashanti has about 3.2 million voters. Strangely, Ashanti region has 47 seats while Greater Accra has only 34 seats. Greater Accra produces 60% of the national GDP. What is the benefit of these projects in the region?. Worse of all , majority of these Ashanti politicians are theives and unproductive. Look at these people ; Lawrence Addai, Cecilia Dapaah, K. T. Hammond, Wontumi, the Kufuor brothers, Kofi Jumah etc..what are they good for? They turned the whole region into galamsey pits.
