Alfred Agbesi Woyome is is disturbing the hornet's nest. He himself had made public the names of some people he allegedly benefitted from his adjudicated judgment debt loot, including Jerry Rawlings and the then Attorney General. Jerry vehemently denied receiving any money from him. People are now going to rekindle their curiousity as to how much has been retrieved from him after he admitted responsibility and committed himself to pay back. It would have better to let sleeping dogs lie.

Due to Agbesi Woyome's involvement in the shady judgment debt, the cunningness of the scheme and amount involved, JJR called Woyome a thief(The judgment debt looked too perfect, ie. It looked as though Agbesi and some others carefully orchestrated everything knowing it might ensue in a judgment debt - both NPP and NDC were involved)!

Befuddled with this turn of events, Woyome became very irascible and threatened he would expose Jerry John Rawlings who took this as farce; come to think of it, what was he going to expose rather than follow others who said similar things and had nothing to expose? Ask John Kufuor who rode to presidency on Rawlings bashing and Kweku Ananse Baako sent on a one-month mission in Europe on taxpayers' money to find out where Jerry stashed stolen money. Shameless Baako came back quietly as a thief in the night and up to now never opened his dirty mouth about his findings.

When the National Reconciliation Committee (aka Nail Rawlings Committee) was formed, there were sensational speculations Rawlings would be going to jail. On a one month UK visit planned long before the hearings, there was a lot of noise in the public domain about Rawlings having ran away and would never come back. It was the first time I came to the realization something was seriously wrong about countrymen's intellectual judgment, and that the future looked bleak if our financial security borders on how we think. There's a correlation between the two.

On a court martial, when there was almost certainty Jerry might be found guilty and sentenced to death, he still stood up with no care in the world and called STUPID the panel for asking his motive for the attempted coup! Yet Ghanaians thought he ran away to UK from fear!

During the NRC almost no questions were asked him because everyone knew he wasn't involved in what they were accusing him of. In other words, because of the lack of intelligence among Ghanaians, Kufuor embarked on a fanciful behavior he knew Ghanaians would pick up as bone of the moment and keep licking!
