Many became dissatisfied and felt overworked. So, after the death of Solomon, there was a rebellion and the Northern tribes of Israel broke away. That made Israel weak and could be easily defeated.
The construction of the Cathedral was really irrelevant. The money could have been used for something more important and beneficial to Ghanaians. Money wasted.
