Recently When the former energy minister under Mahama-dumso declared that there was going to be dumso I got scared. The reason being that he may have seen the signs that caused dumso in their era but it never happened. That gave a clear indication that Mahamas dumso was clear lack of intuition. Look if Mahama was the president during covid he would have handled it same as dumso and left Ghanaians do die like flies. People should not be taken away that the free SHS is such a money draining but important thing that has happened to this country. Every country before developing took on mass education of its citizens and that is not an easy task. China, Singapore, Malaysia, count them embarked on massive education of citizenry.

I commend the president for this appointment. That said, judging from his profile I don't think he is qualified for the position of a finance minister. First and foremost, he lacks a solid background and working knowledge of wealth creation. Simply put, -- unless I'm mistaken -- he lacks a working knowledge of global money markets, and the trading of financial instruments. His profile is more suitable for the position of an energy ministter. Ghana needs a finance minister with a solid background in Keynesian and supply side economic framework. We can do better. May Lord Almighty to bless

I commend the president for this appointment. That said, judging from his profile I don't think he is suitable for the position of a finance minister. First and foremost, he lacks a solid background and working knowledge of wealth creation. Unless I'm mistaken he lacks a working knowledge of global money markets, and transactions of global financial instruments. His profile is more suitable for the position of an energy minister. Ghana needs a finance minister with a solid background and working knowledge in Keynesian and supply side economic frameworks. We need to define the structure of our economy. Let's strive to do better. Parliament must not confirm him. May Lord Almighty continue to bless our beloved Great Ghana: Amen!!!

With all due respect: President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is not serious with Ghanaians. He is either preying on the meek temperament of Ghanaians, or he is just ignorant of what it takes to run the country. He is making this appointment not to help the country, but rather to throw sand into the eyes of Ghanaians. Because they have been complaining about the sub par performance of his cousin Ken Ofori-Atta. He has thus decided to throw Ghanaians and the country from the frying pan into the fire -- to settle scores. I sincerely urge Ghana Parliament to seriously vet this appointee for the office of Finance Minister. In my humble opinion he is not qualified. There's nothing in his profile to merit his appointment as the finance minister of Ghana. It's up to parliament to save Ghana from the tyranny President Nana-Addo Dankwa is perpetrating against the people. Ghana is nobody's personal property. May Lord Almighty continue to bless our beloved Great Ghana: Amen!!!

Can you tell us a single contribution or impact he has made, especially on the Ghanaian economy, by being at the helm of all the institutions he has either being a member or the chairman of? Ghanaians would be better informed if you had told me at at each of those institutions he had served in, especially as the deputy minister in-charge Ghana’s petroleum resources, these were the gains he individually and collectively brought to the people of Ghana. These are the critical matters we want to read about!
