As a native of Jirapa, I learned Bundle Man (Nickname of Eric Johnson) supported and bankrolled the installation of Justice as the chief amidst opposition from the Bapen-yire children resulting in a news conference by one teacher in Jirasec against the installation.
But for me, the work of Bundle in UWR is unprecedented and should not warrant his murder.

I monitored commentary following the demise of Eric Johnson in the media. I have never being to Jirapa Dubai and don't in anyway know Mr. Johnson who became popular to cult status as a National Hero because of a popular luxurious tourist attraction and business empire he chose to built in his native town of Jirapa. I have been reliably informed that the Hill Top Lodge has been pivotal in driving immense development in the relatively deprived and marginalized District like Jirapa. Jirapa Dubai offered a multi-faceted socioeconomic opportunities like tourism, , investment, innovation,employment, education, financial windfall, ,youth empowerment that saw the rapid ascension of Jirapa on the socioeconomic ladder. Most of the comments I read have been about the retrogressive, ,destructive, ,barbaric, ,negative and uncultured behavior of Northerners as a people. These comments as usual came from the Southerners provoking angry reaction from Northerners as expected reminiscent of battles in our days in the University between Southerners and Northerners who often perceive Northerners as uncivilized people. However, ,the death of the great entrepreneur and innovator must draw our attention to the harsh reality that we have a problem of self-destruction and extremely antagonistic behavior towards ourselves as a people. I am saying this on authority that we generally envy and work with heightened determination to undermine each other and truncate our collective development as a people. As a result of this, , unscrupulous and callous people who are by nature evil nurtured capitalize on disputes related to chieftaincy and politics to undermine and destroy others perceive as a threat to their quest for absolute power by hook or crook. The perception maybe real but most often imaginary grounded on mere suspicion just because one is seen as an associate of a certain gate in chieftain or a political party. One of the things I can bet with my balls from anecdotal evidence is that most of the chieftaincy disputes in the North have strong political connotations and often link with intra and extra party politics. This phenomenon have lead to the murder of several resourceful people like Eric Johnson and needless shedding of innocent blood who have become victims of circumstances. Even religious factors and politico-religious sentiments have become a convenient tool in preaching and propagating hatred against people with the same religious denomination. For instance, ,in the Catholic Church you are likely to suffer sect-driven religious propaganda to damage you and endanger your live through hate speech by groups like the Knight of Marshalls or Knight of Saint Johns if you have a problem with any of their members even if you are a Catholic by Christian denomination.I personally experienced this when Mr. Alban Bagbin, the current Speaker of Parliament ordered my dismissal from the Ghana Health Service in 2012 as then Health Minister, when I have to beg and leave on alms for 6 good years with drenching suffering and humiliation as a victim of blackmail led by Mr. Bagbin. In fact, Mr. Bagbin ordered my outright dismissal without giving me a listening ear because I was in dispute with some colleagues who were his lodge brothers with the Marshallans. This is despite the fact that Mr. Bagbin is actually my Clan relative and was farming on my family lands in Tumu Welembele bequeathed to him by my Uncles as a family relation as at the time he ordered my dismissal in 2012. The Speaker committed callous and abominable crimes against me but managed to use Politics and the Catholic Church as a Marshallan to instigate massive hatred against me. I have been severely tortured in work setting and received several death threats because of the Mr. Bagbin who have been referenced many times with such threads. In fact, I have had my vehicle tempered with three good times obviously
to cause harm to me through accident. In 2022, I was crossed by 2 armed guys on a motorcycle but managed to escape because because I was driving. Yet, this Man have managed to use his political stature and indeed his stature in the Catholic Church as Grandmaster with the Knight of Marshalls to incite hatred and make me a target of abuse and eminent threat of danger by his loyalists. He is using his position as the head of the legislative arm of government to bully and torture me using institutional. structures, his loyalists and lodge brothers with the Knight of Marshall as top public officers. Most of the people he is using to torture and debase me are indeed Northerners and mostly Dagaabas with the Catholic Lodge fraternities, either as Marshallans or Johns. I therefore partially agree with the school of thought that we are indeed retrogressive and destructive in the North and careless about our collective development except our selfish gains purely for self aggrandizement. However, most of the problems we are facing such as these orchestrated murders of highly resourceful persons like Mr. Eric John are unfortunately direct machinations of highly educated and accomplished Northerners. It is the elite in the North especially the political elite who are generally behind these endemic chieftaincy disputes often with political undertones resulting in orchestrated loss of innocent but highly useful lives significantly contributing to development in the relatively poor and deprived northern sector. I cannot in anyway believe it is just ordinary people in Jirapa or the Upper West Region who are behind his murder. The culprits must be people of very high social stature with affluence and influence who perceive him as a threat to their interest of absolute power and monopoly of the people he is seriously empowering and enlightening away from poverty and ignorance. The nature of the plot considering the fact that he is somebody who is highly security conscious and strict with same as heard from a Journalist who was interviewed by Joynews TV, means a lot of money would have been paid in this contract killing. This particular murder is obviously an elites enterprise in naked demonstration of power in which the political elite cannot by any stretch of imagination be ruled out. The problem however is that same maneuvering and mechanisms by powerful persons with affluence and influence behind the murder of this wonderful gentleman will be deployed to cover-up evidence of the murder, which is very easy to do with a very corrupt and rotten justice system. In any case, if he has dedicated family, friends and associates who will pursue his murder to the latter, giving that he has the resources, contacts and have empowered people, we shouldn't be surprised that the people behind his murder will be very high profile people including the political elite. If I were his relative or close associate, I will contract international investigators and forensic experts because the Ghana Police will fizzle out if high profile persons are suspected to be involved just like media blackout was put on my case when Journalists were compromised by the current Speaker, Mr. Bagbin to suppress his involvement in the inhuman torture, threats and attempted murder I was subjected to as a victim of political persecution by his cold, bloody icy hands.

So, the many high profile murder cases that are taking place in the south you have decided to close your eyes, but have the audacity to insult all Northerners. Please, be measured by your words. When the people in that mining district murdered Captain Mahama some years back, did you generalize it to all southerners?
