If we truly want Ghana to develop, we have to hold politicians accountable. If Bawumia promised to develop Ghana without borrowing, as he stated previously, claiming that Ghana has enough funds and doesn't need to borrow, yet now he is part of a government that has borrowed excessively and defaulted on its debt payments, unable to pay investors who have invested in government bonds, and now asks for votes—wow, and people are applauding. I don't think he should be listened to. What we need to promote is honesty and integrity, not rewarding people for lying. Imagine if all the so-called intellectuals told the truth to Bawumia. All politicians would learn to tell the truth, rather than being rewarded for lying. If we want Ghana to develop, we have to root out lies and those who don't respect the people.
