  May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace with the Lord.
  I pray that everyone connected to this heinous crime is brought to book. Human being is so wicked, wicked to the core. Development of Jirapa will stagnant for decades and the citizens will miss goldern opportunities, opportunities for decent livelihoods. I hope that none of the "criminals" behind this dastardly act is a native of Jirapa or Western Region.

  He had the right to be at any part of the property at any moment. The only thing that matters now is that he was killed, irrespective of where he was at the time of the incident . This aside, the truth has to be told: He was found dead in his own Private Residence in the Villas of the Presidential Lodge. In any case, the entire resort is his private property and the question about what he was doing in one of hotel rooms is out of place. It is sad. The emphasis should be placed on how the world can truly mourn the death of a truly beautiful person and soul. My heart aches. May he rest in peace.

  I have been there with my wife and there are cameras at some part of the hotel, atleast. My wife is still of the opinion that this has been a premeditated murder and whoever did it might have schemed for a long time.

  RIP Erick. I met the man when I visited Jirapa in around 2015 and went to see the most talked about property in Jirapa. I saw a magnificent property that I thought was far beyond the standards of the locals. It is the type of facility you may think was funded by the World bank. The facility had chalets, Restaurants, swimming pools, mini zoo and a Presidential villa with heliport and live Antelopes in the front lawn. Two separate commercial water plants and a safari park was under construction to serve residents and for exports. Erick was kind within his busy schedule to give a tore of the facility and I was privileged to benefit from that. When I asked him (Erick) why he would invest that much resources at a place so far from the city and towns? He answered, "people would come when I build". He envisioned that he would construct a small airfield where people could fly in from far places to get away from the cities for short visits. He was an Engineer who went round to build and serviced water pumps'/dams for countries and had come home to help. His light may have been put out but his Legend lives. RIP Erick Johnson.

  Very Sad story,if there is insecurity in the country how will someone invest in the country..Ppl will randomly pop into A hotel and kill the owner just like that..Pretty scary!!

He was always at hotel to personally supervise and ensured work was done to expectation. He said he had to be around almost all the time to properly maintain the standard. Oh, Dear God, this dream has been cut short prematurely. May God grant him a merciful judgment and a peaceful rest in hi Bossom.
