You can die after a successful operation. An operation is deemed successful only when you return home safe ,sound and beter than before the operation. These Indians are only after your money. They know very well that the family cannot sue them in India. Rich Kenyans, Egyptians and recently Nigerias have learnt their lessons so they are no longer trooping to India for medical care because many of them have been brought home in caskets. Let's invest in local hospitals and build capacity.

When will Ghanaians learn? The UNiversity of Ghana Medical Center is equipped with everything one can think of, including specialists in all or most disciplines, so why will anyone travel to India for a general physical (check up)? Even in the US, no doctor will conduct a surgery on lower back without extensive consultation with the patient's primary physician. These so called doctors in India and South Africa are killing you, and you don't seem to learn anything from these experiences. Mr., please don't tell anyone that the procedure was successful. It was a failed procedure, and to be honest with you, he was used as a guinea pig for experimentation. Any surgery involving the the vertebrae is complex and most doctors will rather advise a patient to opt for pain management approach. My condolence to you and your family.
