year in year out, payment issues always arise. its not sustainable.
What Bawumia has said in my opinion makes sense. If you are able to secure a job, then you can be excluded.
Its a stopgap measure to build some work experience without which most employers will hardly consider you.
therefore, I see no wrong here. Why must I do national service if I have secured a job.Am I not working in the country and for the country?
Will I pay taxes or not?
Please let us be critical in our thinking and stop politicing everything.

Akuffo addo is a poor leader because he has never had life experience of I teaching with the underprivileged, and the deprived, as he's always been spoon fed by his so called rich family.
How many established institutions would employ raw and inexperienced national service personal! The best is enrol them in their internship program, so saying people get job after school is bull!

National Service doesn't make anybody patriotic in Ghana. Over the decades, service personal suffer long delays in getting their allowances among many other difficulties. Stop the nonsense politics. Scrap the NSS.

Any initiative that allows any student to go straight into a job is good. The fear is that it is the children of the politicians who may enjoy this straight to work thing.
