    the only advantage i see is going to rural areas to teach underprivileged children and communities. and even this can be done outside of national service. it has outlived it ...

    National Service doesn't make anybody patriotic in Ghana. Over the decades, service personal suffer long delays in getting their allowances among many other difficulties. Stop the nonsense politics. Scrap the NSS.

    NATIONAL SERVICE CERTIFICATE SHOULD BE MANDATORY FOR MPs,PRESIDENTS, AND THEIR VICES, MINISTERS AND OTHER GOVERNMENT APPOINTEES. PARLIAMENT MUST PASS THAT LAW.
