It's long on cash outflows but short on cash inflows. What economic model -- e.g. Keynesian or Supply Side -- is going to define the structure of Ghana's economy post the IMF bailout? The energy agenda excludes gas and oil. It cannot bring down the cost of electricity for the average Ghanaian household in the foreseeable future. Because it is cheaper to produce electricity from fossils than renewables. We owe it to ourselves to achieve 'Net Zero' in gradual steps with a lot of caution. Case in point, we don't have sufficient storage capacity for electricity -- produced from renewables. Dr Bawumia is short on how we are going to acquire lithium batteries -- without breaking the bank. Dr Bawumia is short on how to expand manufacturing and create manufacturing jobs. Abolishing national service programs will deter entry level hiring -- because of training cost to employers. Government will spend on digitization -- to benefit a few -- but the private sector will build the roads and bridges for the larger population. This sounds like oxymoron. It defies the principles of marginal utility in microeconomics. These are just few of the areas Dr Bawumia will have to explain, and fine-tune. May Lord Almighty continue to bless our beloved Great Ghana: Amen!!!

I like his it ict focus but severely hate this private involvement in public business becos that will give licence to 1000% corruption. In the the public sector now people know they don't have shares and yet are looting all the public money with impunity. If they have shares then the poor will continue to suffer more. We know a majority of people who are rich today benefited from corruption in one way or the other so how do them added more business to people like that

All we need to do is appoint people who can work against corruption and deal with them swiftly when the go wrong. There are a lot of people. We also have to minimize expenditure as well. And make sure no one has contact with money using ict

State agencies can work if we have the right leaders from the president downs.
