A Ghanaian based in Sydney had a confrontation with his Australian girlfriend. The lady then invited police and the Ghanaian was arrested at Sydney central police. In the same Friday evening, the young Ghanaian died at the police cells. The Australian police reported to the government of Ghana that the young man comitted suicide with a blanket at the police cell. Investigations reveal that he was killed by the Australian police. Ghanaians in Australia who wanted to ascertain the authenticity of case were intimidated by the police. The family of the deceased never received anything from the Australian government.
