Dear Ghanaweb, I want to bring to your attention and investigation at what is happening at the Ghana Consulate in Chicago. Appointments have been cancelled because the consular has gone for a few days vacation. No email or notice has been given to this effect. Infact calls are not picked , nor responded to. The same thing at New York, DC. Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, kindly come to our aid ASAP. Some staff are also rude. You may wish to change the staffing there. They are tarnishing our image. Good day

They support the deaf aid blind the wards at 37 military hospital and silently. many Lebanese continue toi sponsor school fees and education of many Ghanaian students here in ghana in all fields like medicine and engineering that have positive impact no matter how small it is.i personally know a black Ghanaian bearing a Lebanese surname because he was adopted by Lebanese parents although they had kids of their own.
I am .
most Ghanaians about their support to orphanage homes and their putting on the roads fir example in kumasi buses that were carrying passengers free of charge .
Many Ghanaians have been the products of silent scholarships that they the beneficiriies dud not know were being sponsored by Lebanese.
Any way I'm yet to hear of a Lebanese who took even light bulbs with them when they left ghana like the British did after colonising ghana,
I'm a part Lebanese
Got the best Lebanese dad ever who sent ns and my siblings to lebanon and Europe for education
Took my Ghanaian mum.globe trotting and loved her so dearly.
My siblings and I have married Lebanese and Ghanaian spouses living here and abroad with success stories chalked to the envy of many.
That's probably the issue.
Many and most Lebanese in ghana and the world have great success stories in careers and business
Like it or not like us or not we have proven beyond doubt many positive contributions.
I'm yet to hear a Lebanese who made fir example whole shiploads of cocoa disappear from. Ghana.
I have rather seen thousands employed and yes like in any society few bad nuts do exist but on the whole lebanon itself has done well in all countries where their citizens are.

Talk about that.
I'm Ghanaian happily married to a Lebanese and living in lebanon and in the USA where our grown up kids also graduared and work between ghana USA and Europe.
Our eldest daughter is working with UN in Geneva.
If I die and cone back to this life I will not change my dearest Lebanese husband (who by the way continues to donate to Ghanaian and also European children funds .) Will not change him for anyone else in the world..bad people exist in every nationally.
Let's not generalise in any situation.
It may also interest u to know I'm Christian and my husband is a mosley.
One of Our kids is married to a Vietnamese..
