Was there probable cause? Yes. The guy had not merely communicated with the group, but also shared ideas on how to organise disruptive protests and donated money to the leader of the group. It was the prosecution task to prove that in making those contributions, the ACP knew of the group's intent and knew that he was contributing to a coup plot. In the judge's estimation, the prosecution failed in that task and the judge set the accused free. If this is not rule of law, a constitutional process, what is? Sometimes Kwaku Azar just wants to make noise and listen to sound of his own voice! Of course, if Azar thinks this is a case of wrongful prosecution, he should feel free to take up the case for the ACP and demand justifiable restitution. That, too, is part of rule of law, not the nonsense Azar is spewing here.

@Probable Cause, you couldn't have said it any better. Not worth adding anything more. Thank you.

For me, I agree with the institutional majority (the investigation team, the A-G dept and the court) that there was a case for the ACP to answer.

That was what happened in Agordzo's case. He was accused wrongly, but he was freed because the allegation against him couldn't be proven. I'm not a lawyer, but this is common sense.

Agbodzo says he has Dominic on tape planning his arrest. Must this happen under constitutional era?

Ghanaian officials are intellectually allergic to criticism. When confronted, they will lie until they start to sound like idiots. This is also the point at which they resort to naked power. God bless you, Prof.
