At a time the visionary Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was building Tema Harbor, Tema Township and Industrial Hub not to mention Accra-Tema motorway, this Matemeho nation wreckers said it was a wasteful venture. Even President Kufuor, a latter day poster boy of the UP, had reason to criticize Nkrumah. Decades down the line, they cannot even rehabilitate the motorway and a grabbing Tema lands left, right and center. These people don't have Ghana at heart oo. All they think about is immediate gratification of needs to score cheap political points.

Before land became scarce schools, churches and cemeteries were sited at the outskirts of town. To ensure pupils and students stayed in class to study. Towns expand to meet schools, churches and cemeteries.
