From what I read,his intent wasn't to only shave his private parts,he had wanted to have sex with him,he's gay.

Very rediculous. However, I cannot rule out a spiritual agenda (ritual) with the shaven hair. The parents of the young man must look sharp (protect the young man) before they are taken by unexpected developments.
